Terms & Privacy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Clic is made by DinoMedia, Almere, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no. 68193475). You can reach us at support@clic.camera.

These terms apply to the Clic app for iOS and Android. By using Clic you agree to them.

The short version

Clic has no accounts and no servers. Everything you shoot stays on your phone. We do not collect, receive, store or sell any of your data — we could not, even if we wanted to, because the app never sends anything anywhere.

The flip side: if you delete the app or lose your phone, your rolls and photos are gone. Save the ones you care about to your phone's photo gallery.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing.

Clic contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no crash reporting and no third-party services that gather information. There is no login, so we never learn your name, email address or anything else about you.

What stays on your device

The following is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone:

None of this leaves your device.

Permissions we ask for

Camera — to take photos. Clic never records video or audio, and the camera is only active while the camera screen is open.

Save photos — only used when you choose to save a photo or a whole roll to your phone's photo gallery (Photos on iPhone, Gallery on Android). Clic cannot read your existing photo library.

Notifications — to tell you when a roll has finished developing. These are scheduled on your device; no notification passes through any server. You can switch them off in the app or in your phone's settings.

You can withdraw any of these permissions in your phone's settings at any time. Without camera access the app cannot take photos.

Photos you share

When you use the share button, your phone hands the photo to whichever app you pick. From that moment the privacy policy of that app applies. We are not involved in and have no view of what happens next.

Children

Clic is suitable for all ages and collects no data, so it poses no particular risk to children. It is not directed at children under 13 specifically.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to hand over or erase. All your data lives on your own device: deleting the app erases it completely and irreversibly.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Clic does something new with data — for example the in-app purchase of extra film rolls — we will update this page and note the date at the top before that version is released.

Terms of Use

Using Clic

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Clic on devices you own. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.

The waiting is deliberate

Clic imitates a disposable film camera on purpose. You cannot preview a photo before taking it, you cannot retake it, and a roll only becomes visible once it is full and has "developed" — by default one month, adjustable in Settings. This is a feature, not a fault, and is not grounds for a refund.

Your content

The photos you take are yours. We claim no rights over them and have no access to them.

Backups are your responsibility

Clic stores photos on your device only. We cannot recover anything for you. You lose your rolls and photos if you delete the app, reset or lose your phone, or your device breaks. Save anything you want to keep to your phone's photo gallery.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue Clic at any time. We try to keep the app working on current iOS and Android versions but cannot guarantee it works on every device or in every situation.

No warranty

Clic is provided "as is". We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that photos will always be saved correctly.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost photos or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.

Statutory consumer rights under Dutch and EU law are unaffected by these terms.

Purchases

Version 1.0 of Clic is free and contains no purchases. Should a later version offer paid film rolls, these are sold through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), and their terms and refund policies apply. We will update this page before that happens.

Applicable law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in Almere, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to a different court.
